What Does This Tool Count?
This tool counts the number of whole days between a start date and an end date. By default it counts the gap between the two dates (an exclusive count); ticking "include the end date" adds one extra day, which is useful when you're counting things like the total length of a stay or event.
Example Calculation
From 10 August 2026 to 20 August 2026 is 10 days (or 11 days if the end date is included).
Formula / Calculation Method
Days = round((End Date − Start Date) ÷ 1 day), plus 1 if the end date is included.
How to Use This Tool
- Enter a start date and an end date.
- Tick "include the end date" if you want an inclusive count.
- Click Count Days to see the result in days and as weeks + days.
